He acknowledges the work of the founder of the Indian Presbyterian work, the Rev. Joseph Prakasim, looks at the expansion of Presbyterianism among the Indian population in South Africa and shows how through various ministries these congregations contributed to the development of the Indian communities in South Africa, impacting on the country as a whole.
