Summary: | This work is based on qualitative methodology. This research stands out its own humanistic-cultural model in UEB of Ecuador. A set of favorable conditions to train nurses with ability to harmonize their technical expertise with the best human values, but even these are not sufficiently mobilized. It happens because there is a set of limitations and contradictions that emerge because of needed challenges to be overcome from a training management strategy that dynamize all these prosperous elements. The objective was to analyze social contradictions that exist in the training management process of nursing in UEB and the results were systematization of characteristics found in training nursing, so that the analysis of main problems which obstructs the development of training management in those professionals.<br />Keywords: nurse, contradiction, values, management, training culture.
