La vulnérabilité comme ouverture à la contingence. Deux enquêtes situées

This article is based on two ethnographic surveys carried out on the one hand in a speaking space for "very precarious people" in Grenoble (le Parlons-En) and on the other hand in a palliative care unit. It seeks to account, from these two sites, for a particular understanding of vulnerability that emerges in these places of being. Indeed, this allows us to release the vulnerability of its indexation to a class of beings (the "very precarious", or people at the end of their lives) and to consider that it is coextensive with the indeterminacy of these places and the beings that populate them. By focusing on the patient exploration of this conception of vulnerability, this article deploys, through precise ethnographic sequences, a non-finalist reading of what happens.
