Research of everyday life of women in the Serbian society taking especially into consideration Kosovo and Metohia

The author attempted to show the presence of the category of everyday life of women in the works of sociologists (indirectly historians and anthropologists) in the Serbian society. The author was motivated to write this paper by the fact it was about insufficiently treated phenomenon in domestic sociology. Numerous, as a rule, turbulent happenings in different ideological circumstances appropriated to Serbian society, indicate to the unequal level of presence of the category of everyday life research all the more so it was considered sociology studied 'important social events'. The more happenings in the society were turbulent, the more category of everyday life becomes actual, since the sphere of privacy is reflected by all social changes. Thus, it is not surprising that the largest number of papers in magazines, collection of papers, monograph publications was published in the last two decades, when the temporariness became the word by which it was the easiest way to describe everyday life in Serbia. Generally speaking, Serbian society is searching its institutional footing any longer. Everyday or long-term priorities are to be different in different regions or societies. Thus, common denominators of all regions are low standard and absence of clear vision of future, due to that we think researches on everyday life in Serbia are going to be actual theme amongst sociologists any longer. Non-resolution of the social position of women under which series of existential and everyday problems are implied, testifies on the inexhaustibility of this theme to be researched.
