| Summary: | We present the first specimen records of Grallaria haplonota for Colombia, where it occurs between 1300 and 1700 m long the Pacific slope of the western Andes, north to Risaralda. Data on the ecology and vocalizations are presented, as well as a brief discussion of taxonomic problems in the species.<br>Se presentan los primeros registros respaldados con especímenes de Grallaria haplonota para Colombia, en donde se distribuye entre 1300 y 1700 m a lo largo de la vertiente del Pacifico de la Cordillera Occidental, desde Nariño hasta Risaralda. Se presentan anotaciones sobre la ecología,<br />las vocalizaciones, y problemas taxonómicos de la especie.
