Summary: | From a finished research about drawing and child abuse clinic, some approaches on the psychoanalytic uses of drawing in child clinic are herein described in order to show, from the different authors' concepts and theories, the main symbolic functions that may operate when drawing and that explain the therapeutic effects observed in such processes. The conception of the use of drawing in psychoanalytic clinic as a technical deviation is questioned and widened, as well as the conception coming from psychology and psychiatry which reduces drawing to a psychodiagnostic function, specific of psychological tests. |
