| Summary: | This paper presents the results of a faunal study of ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from Hormozgan province in southern Iran, which was carried out from winter 2015 to winter 2016. A total of 30 species belonging to 18 genera were collected and identified. Two species – Calodromius mayeti and Elaphropus (Tachyura) biblis – are reported from Iran for the first time; in addition, the occurrence of several species in Iran was confirmed. |
