| Summary: | The article is a bibliographic review that describes how Cuba was first in the hands ofSpain, getting the Cubans get rid of the Spanish colony, then the Cuban economy fell into the hands of the United States, making it neocolonial.With the arrival of Fidel Castro to the government this allies to the Soviet Union and when this superpower disappears Cuba falls in an economic and social depression of which it still does not manage to leave. It is concluded that the Cuban economy has found it difficult to find a dynamic that can change and restrict its external dependence in the process of economic development. |
