The authors also research the economic mechanisms of the stimulation of green market development in Russia. The authors reveal an important feature of environmental certification connecting it with a healthy lifestyle, improving the quality of life, and proper nutrition. The interrelationships between environmental management, ecological certification, green market and sustainable development are considered in the paper. In the article the causes of the growing interest to new characteristics of agricultural products are also justified including coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the growing demand for green, organic food that helps to rehabilitate the health. The relevance of the green market development is also approved. The authors link the sustainable development to environmental certification as a way to claim the purity of goods and services. The authors research the case of ecological certification in sustainable development on the legal bases and economic regulation. Different types of the environmental services are considered and evaluated. During analysis the main problems in the ecological certification in Russia are revealed.
