Ernani Fornari was an influent personality in the Modernism in Rio Grande do Sul. Through Trem da Serra - a colonial poem from the Italian region he expressed some of the most decisive aspects of Modernist doctrine, incorporating local language, dialoguing with other arts, accepting the speed of changes and presenting a unique view over the landscape and history that are part of Rio Grande do Suls mountain range. |
