RESEARCH OF STRUCTURE AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF LiNbO3:Zn CRYSTALS

Structure of LiNbO3:Zn crystals was shown to be more ordered in concentration range ~3,95 ÷ 4,54 mol. % ZnO . Rise of dopant concentration to 5,84 mol. % leads to sharp increase of 876 cm^(-1) Raman band. This band is connected with changes in B-O-B ( B=Nb , Li , Zn ) bridge. Change of ion contribut...

Description
Summary:Structure of LiNbO3:Zn crystals was shown to be more ordered in concentration range ~3,95 ÷ 4,54 mol. % ZnO . Rise of dopant concentration to 5,84 mol. % leads to sharp increase of 876 cm^(-1) Raman band. This band is connected with changes in B-O-B ( B=Nb , Li , Zn ) bridge. Change of ion contribution to this band explains smooth rise in electro-optical coefficients at 3-7,6 mol. % ZnO in LiNbO3 .
