N′-(3,5-Dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-3,4-methylenedioxybenzohydrazide

In the asymmetric unit of the title hydrazone compound, C15H10Br2N2O4, there are two independent molecules. In each molecule, the five-membered ring adopts a flattened envelope conformation; the flap atoms are displaced by 0.114 (2) and 0.219 (2) &#1...

In both molecules, intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bonds are observed. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the a axis. http://scripts.iucr.org/cgi-bin/paper?S160053680902282X
