Summary:“Physical education is consciousness activity, constant from childhood to adult- hood, to which the aim is to assure full physical development, to strengthen the power of resistance against illness, to ameliorate energy and all other characteristics of ac- tivity and character.” (Hebert / Le sport contre l’éducation physique“, Pons 1925.). Physycal education is important factor of overall education. It becomes equal and equally valuable process, which features special tools and tasks. However, besides everything else success of physical education of children and youth depends on methods, content, tools, sources and school organization of teaching. The science has universal deve- lopment of the personality as the main goal. Following that every education which’s results The science puts overall development of personality as goal of education. Follo- wing that, every education that opposes to that goal is wrong and narrow. This means that physical education as composing and indivisible part of general education is permanent, planned and systematic process of impact on human, especially at the period of youth when different kinds of tools, especially by physical education develop and build a person capable for work, and when forming his personality in sense of ethics Yet, besides all other a success of physical education of children and youth depend on methods, content, tools, sources and school organization of teaching. For an achie- vement of expected results it is not enough that teacher knows only meanings, aims and connectivity of his work in function of school as educational institution, but also to know to organize and perform teaching by modern scientific achievement, specially pedagogy, psychology and physiology.
