Materials and methods. This work followed common methods of theoretical studies and was based on KSRC guidelines, risk management standards, as well as relevant publications, both Russian and foreign. Main results. Existing methodological recommendations on safety decision-making for offshore oil and gas facilities were systematized. The task of describing the implementation of decision-making methodology intended to ensure safe operation of offshore facilities and their equipment has been successfully accomplished. Conclusion.
