It includes deflections by extragalactic magnetic fields and all relevant interactions with ambient photon backgrounds. Furthermore it provides the possibility to track secondary γ-rays and neutrinos produced in the different reactions. This allows for the investigation of their connection with the primary nuclei, the so called multi-messenger approach.
