Summary:In this review we observed the role of high risk HPV types in the development of epithelial lesions of the cervix. Modern data on the role of molecular genetic methods in the diagnosis of HPV-associated diseases are represented here. We analyze the literature on modern molecular biomarkers that shows the risk of proliferative processes in the transformation to neoplasia.
