The clinical data were analyzed and literatures were reviewed.Results The patient received a cervial cyst resection and a bronchogenic cyst was identified by pathological examination. The patient had an uneventful recovery without recurrence after 1 year follow-up.Conclusion Cervical ectopic bronchogenic cyst is extremely rare, moreover it has no distinctive characteristics in clinical symptoms and image examinations, so that the diagnosis still depends on the pathology.
