Description
Summary:Due to an increase in technological complexity, corporations have realised the value of developing employees through corporate training. One aspect that defines how efficient and effective corporations can conduct training is the employee’s capacity to learn. Therefore, this research paper examines the link between corporate training and organisational learning by evaluating learning theories from the paradigm areas behaviourism, cognitivism, and constructivism in regards to their utilization in terms of training design. This evaluation has led to the conclusion that an understanding of learning theories in the design of training is essential and even valuable in different stages of training.
