The article analyzes the types of cooperation between Ukrainian libraries in terms of changes that occur under the influence of time and requirements of information technology in library and information sector. Defined characteristics and their role in the implementation of the main tasks of libraries in the development of the national information space. In the national library and information sector is urgent international collaboration, cooperation, partnership, integration, cooperation, coordination and consolidation. The impact of the general trends of international cooperation found in library cooperation, based on the organizational principle - corporatism (combined and distributed electronic library resources) and the technological principle - network integration, which involves the use of telecommunications, including Internet technologies. Through the establishment of coordinating libraries of various departments will actively develop new forms of integration, processing and dissemination of information, remote service agencies and users, providing information targeted priority areas of research. Main socio-cultural corporations and library consortia is to enrich the information resources each library through the mutual exchange of information, assistance in the modernization and optimization of library resources. Consolidation - the integration of information and communication space components of the strategic framework for further improvement of library and information service users. Considered modification cooperation of national libraries are evidence of potential implementation of successful interaction in the formation of national scientific information space.
