Summary:On September 27, 1595, two Ukrainian bishops, having received from the Ukrainian-Belorussian Episcopate all powers and having letters from the Nuncio and the King to the Pope and Cardinal Secretary, went on a long journey to Rome. On October 26 they were already on the Italian territory. Bypassing Venice, they stay in Padua, where the local bishop congratulates them holy and heartfelt, endowing their lunch for several days.
