Summary:The early detection and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is the key for learning and having a proper insertion into society, to achieve this objective, it is essential the role of the teacher as well as the implementation of several actions to be developed in the classroom, in order to achieve the goals. In this article, it is described a study case about autism and how teachers must be trained in this topic and do a collegial work with parents, which are the essential factors for assessing students with this diagnosis.
