Summary: | Energy is an indispensable element for economic, social and quality of life. With increasing welfare today, the energy needs are rising very fast, while energy sources are limited. In the near future, human beings will face two major crises: environmental pollution and climate change due to fossil fuels, and the other is an accelerating trend towards ending these resources. What is important is the existence of strategic policies around the world and the development of applied research in recognized scientific institutions and research institutes, which introduces renewable energies as one of the ways to deal with environmental pollution and compensate for the limitations of fossil fuels. In this research, we first studied the potential of using solar energy in Iran and Ilam and the parameters of solar photovoltaic system selection in the building; then comparing the effects of one-year energy consumption, economic, social and environmental benefits before and after the installation of photovoltaic solar system in the building The administrative office of Ilam Power Distribution Company. Estimated by installing 10 kilowatts of solar panels in an office building, the annual reduction of more than 11.477 metric tons of carbon dioxide gas into the environment, equivalent to planting 521.68 trees, can be saved and about 40989.95 liters of crude oil can be saved. |
