Summary: | This repport discusses the academic process of construction, implementation and evaluation of an undergraduate course centered on the teaching-learning process of the theme of social control in health. It describes the planning of contents, methodologies and evaluation process experienced by students from different undergraduate course of the University of Brasília.The empahsis in centered on the evaluation process within the formative approach and fallowed the evaluation model implemented by the university. The conclusions point our for necessary commument linked to future changes, taking as a base a prospective looking, offering theoretical-practial information for review or construction of new courses and references to decision making process. These positions are important to improving the academic process and in this context, contribute for the expansion programs of professional distance education.
