Summary:The influence of Fe2+ and Cr3+ excess on glutamate dehydrogenase activity in the organs of ornamental flowering plants has been studied. The increase of enzymatic activity in leaves and roots of Tagetes patula L. was ascertained during all experiment. This index in Lathyrus odoratus L. had enlarged to the 30th day, whereupon went down in relation to a control.
