Shoots obtained from tissue culture were used as starting material. Shoots were planted in sand after they had been submerged in different concentrations of BIOBRAS-16 (0.01, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 mg.l-1). The immersion of the shoots in 0.1 mg.l-1 of BIOBRAS -16 permitted to obtain an efficient rooting.
