| Summary: | Hospitals are complex environments that present a high number of occupational risks. Once an accident has occurred, it can affect the staff as much as patients, visitors, equipment, and physical installations. The issue of safety at work in health support establishments therefore has great importance. There is a constant need to update the staff in order for them to be aware of new developments and contribute to the safe execution of their tasks. This work presents the results of a safety at work course taught to health assistance establishment professionals. The main fundamental themes concerning safety at work were presented in order to allow the participants to identify the occupational risks in their work environments. At the end of the course, a final group activity was developed in which risk maps were prepared. From the experience gained, a model safety at work course is proposed that can be easily applied to health assistance establishment professionals. The specific content of a course should be adapted according to the profiles of the participants and the establishment.
