| Summary: | Taking the attraction of Future Horticultural Designers of Shanghai International Flower Show as an example, the practical results and functions of plant landscaping in typical cases during the past five years were reviewed and studied. The limiting factors which affect the function performance were analyzed as well. The limiting factors include spatial landscape limitations, unsustainability of seasonal performance, variability of landscape budgets, restrictions on students'practical ability, disconnection between learning courses and practice, limited communication channels between school experts and enterprises, lack of corresponding practical instruction materials, etc. Therefore,stratagems and approaches for the development of plant landscaping practices and applications were proposed in this paper,so as to provide some reference of training the future horticultural designers. |
