Description
Summary:Researches carried out in the Karancs-Medves Landscape Protection Area resulted in recording altogether eighteenearthworm species and subspecies, of which the Central European montane Fitzingeria platyura montana (Černosvitov, 1932)reaches its westernmost distribution in the Karancs Mts. in Hungary. Using the recent and literature data, a hierarchical clusteranalysis was carried out to reveal the zoogeographical relations of the Hungarian mountain regions.
