On the Discrete-Time Modeling of a DC-to-DC Power Converter and Control Design with Discrete-Time Sliding Modes

This work presents a novel discrete-time modeling of a boost dc-to-dc power converter by means of the symplectic Euler method. Description
Summary:This work presents a novel discrete-time modeling of a boost dc-to-dc power converter by means of the symplectic Euler method. Then, on the basis of this model, a discrete-time sliding mode regulator is designed in order to force the power converter to behave as a dc-to-ac power converter. Simulation and experimental results are carried on, where the great performance of the proposed methodology is verified.
