Description
Summary:In India, eLearning is showing an increasing trend over the past two decades. Cost-effectiveness and learning flexibility are the key differentiators in favor of Indian eLearning progress. Success and effectiveness of eLearning mainly depend on content quality, representation, and infrastructural support for learning. Also, observed variations are quite high for content quality, media usage, and performance of the online learning resources. Availability of a standard set of quality parameters could have reduce the variation. In this paper, an attempt has been made to identify important eLearning quality parameters for the Indian context. Multiple focus group discussions were conducted to summarize the expectations of Indian eLearning stakeholders. Finally, a set of key parameters was identified. By focusing on these can improve overall eLearning quality, effectiveness, and acceptance by the users.
