Description
Summary:In the interview Hans Georg SOEFFNER explains the roots of Hermeneutic Sociology of Knowledge. He emphasizes that this approach of the hermeneutics is not a method in the narrow sense of the word, but primarily a theory and methodology. The validity of the interpretations is guaranteed by the method of "Sequenzanalyse" (sequence analysis) and the interpretation of the results of the analysis in research groups. Hermeneutic Sociology of Knowledge isn't an arm-chair sociology but is an analytical sociology and its aim is to reconstruct or to design options so that the action repertoire of a society is expanded.
