The data used in the study were received during the observation of the children, visiting closed groups and vaccinated against varicella after the contact with infected persons. Due to post-exposure prophylaxis in the centre of varicella outbreak the localization of the outbreak was achieved in 15 days after the 1st reported case of the disease. The immunization of the susceptible persons in the centre of varicella outbreak significantly decreased the number of children involved in epidemic process.
