Description
Summary:The article brings out aspects of the process of updating the traditions of religious music in the contemporary society. A decisive role in the cultural-stylistic dialogue between the secular tradition and the church one is played by the artistic method in which are reflected the means of using the text that is applied rationally on the basis of associative memory. As a result, is formed the author’s idea about the stylistics of the work. There is emphasis on the fact that the assimilation of the traditional genres of religious and secular music is possible at least at three levels. Especially, when the author uses the comparative method she proves the presence of musical connections of Krdnungsmesse in C-dur by W.A. Mozart that served as a model for outlining the active parameters of the synthesis phenomenon, with Missa by V. Ciolac demonstrating that the latter starts from the model of classical type. his, anyway, does not mark the limits regarding the existence of the speciic features of a synthetic style and it can represent a way of conscious or allusive approach.
