Summary:The presented materials testify the individualization and differentiation of use of pedagogical means and methods taking into account the type of adaptive behavior, age and psychophysiological features of an organism is the perspective direction of teaching safe activity, preservation and promotion of health to the youth. The physiological indicator of individual lability and psychophysiological adaptation is the degree of balance of cardiovascular systemvegetative regulation. The research identified the components influencing the vegetative factors underlying psychosocial and physiological adaptation process in5thand 8th-year secondary school studentsdifferent initial vegetative tones. The research results prove thatthe programme organization of the educational process directed at formation of pupils’knowledge and skills of safety and healthy lifestyle has to be corrected in a way that would allow maximum consideration of students’ system of operational thinking and development into account their age and individual and typological features.
