The review of basic factors influencing on the process of transformation of historical memory in the conditions of decommunization of Ukrainian society is presented. Receptions and mechanisms of «historical politics», used by political forces in a country, are shown. The necessity of making of single strategy is grounded for the question of forming of historical memory at a modern generation from the side of the state and social institutes taking into account the folded social and regional identity.https://periodicals.karazin.ua/usocjour/article/view/11520/11380
