Description
Summary:This article analyzes the political plot of the trade union dispute in the public health field, considering the experience of Neuquén’s Provincial Hospital workers, between 2005 and 2013. From a predominately qualitative methodological strategy, we conducted a situated investigation with a relational approach, in which the complex network of relationships in which the labor disputes take place was reflected. Here we analyze the articulation between labor conflicts and the broader dispute over the management of public policies, the special regulations that legislate hospital work, the relationship between different groups and the presence of the "community" to whom this service is oriented. These reflections contribute to dialogue with trade union studies in post-convertibility, contributing to the study of state workers’ conflict and of a province of the interior of the country. The article argues in favor of a relational perspective that understands the union conflicts and strikes within the framework of the local relations that workers integrate.
