Summary:The objective of the research is to identify the values assigned to environmental goods and services according to the different methods of environmental valuation in the literature. The study is characterized as a review of the literature, descriptive nature, quantitative approach and had as a research source the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) in the period from 2005 to 2015. The parameters analyzed were author (s), place of study, environmental valuation methods used objectives, estimated values of environmental services and assessed attribute. The results showed that the Contingent Valuation Method predominated in most of the analyzed works. It was identified that the Southeast Region has the highest number of environmental valuation methods applied in the studies, and there are no publications on the subject in the Northeast Region. The year with the largest publication addressing the theme was 2010, while 2005 and 2014 did not identify any study. Regarding the values of the estimated environmental services, these were diversified due to the form of evaluation, method, object evaluated, among other variables.
