The boundaries of the city district reflect a political decision; rarely coincide with the natural ecological boundaries that threaten biodiversity and extinction. In Czech Republic, as part of The European Union working forward to manage and protect areas relevant for achieving sustainability and resilience from urban sprawl, the Territorial System of Ecological Stability (TSES) is the core of territorial management for recovering ecosystem services. It was implemented in 1993 as a national-level policy, reflects in regional and local levels. Prague, the capital of the country, is considered one of the greenest cities in the world. Considering that, this study aims to understand the correlation between green and blue natural elements and TSES based on the quality of environmental resources and political decisions, and future strategies in creating green infrastructure applications are natural resources ownership, governance, and management, which is considered one of the most difficult difficulties that occur in creating strategies for sustainable development applications.http://www.tema.unina.it/index.php/tema/article/view/7768city bordersecosystemstsesgisgreen infrastructure
