Entre essas festas está o Polentaço<sup>®</sup>, com suas edições bianuais, em paralelo à Festa do Agricultor, tematizada a partir da Polenta. Among these parties is the Polentaço®, with its biannual editions, happening in parallel to the Festa do Agricultor (Farmer's Feast), having the Polenta as the main theme. Thus, this paper seeks rescuing the memory of gastronomic event Polentaço®, held in Monte Belo do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.</span></div>
