| Summary: | This paper constitutes an analysis of the recent development of cooperation and economic relations between Spain and Venezuela. After a brief look at the process of structural change experienced by the Venezuelan society and economy, the authors analyse the basic features of the economic relations between both countries in the lastyears. Lastly, they study the bilateral cooperation development in the technical and finantial areas after the signature of the General Agreement on Cooperation and Friendship between Spain and Venezuela, with special emphasys on the degree to which the aims have been achieved, the obstacles facing the cooperation implementation and its perspectives in the future. |
