Description
Summary:The current challenge from the digital perspective is having a set of skills that will allow not only the enrolment in a certain job, but also the possibility of being involved in the permanent education and training process. In today's automated, globalized and extremely dynamic society, employees (and we refer here also to those in public administration) are put in new, non-standardized situations, which they must solve efficiently and quickly. It is also necessary that the staff employed could manage new information, but also be able to generate new knowledge. Roles which until now did not require a certain training or roles that needed only a basic training are subjected to a review process from the perspective of the competences that the staff employed must perform. Basically, employees must prove their digital skills and also improve them. Based on the analysis of the literature, the authors presented a set of requirements regarding the development of an online tool for measuring digital skills in public administration and also details regarding the chosen technical solution.
