Summary: | This paper is written with two aims in mind: Firstly, it argues that the research topic of teachers’ workplace relationships is an important one. Secondly, it describes and conveys a sense of the complexity of the subject, in both its positive and negative aspects and of the necessarily complex research journey that the author has had to undertake in order to investigate the issues raised. It reports the results of the first two stages of the research and identifies key interpersonal issues pertinent to developing an understanding of teachers’ workplace relationships. |
