T. Łuczka). Therefore, in this study are presented the determinants occurring in the process of succession along with the threats and opportunities that are associated with it. Proper functioning and further development of the company at the end of the succession and the successor company management are largely related to the issue of whether the process of succession takes into account the determinants presented in the article and will prepare a successor to act effectively in these areas.
