The study, whichhas a descriptive and exploratory approach anda qualitative methodology, was carried out in a first-year course at a private university in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. The primary data source were the audio recordings of verbal exchanges among participants. The interpretation of data follows a discourse microanalysis focused on the teacher’s actions, and resultsreflect upon the use of the interactional strategy known as revoicing.
