The paper presents the results of research related to determining the effectiveness of quality control in a company producing plastic components for automotive industry at separate levels. Upon detection of nonconforming products at his plant, recepient according to the contract asked the supplier to launch the Controlled Shipping Level 1 procedures. As a result of the lack of significant improvement, there was run in the supplier’s plant the Controlled Shipping Level 2 procedure realized on an outsourcing basis by specialized external company. Presented results of the research have made it possible to determine the effectiveness of carried out control activities. Carried out research, also confirmed by expert interviews, show that automotive companies aim to make their business more flexible so that they respond faster and more easily to internal and mainly external factors. What in the opinion of production and quality managers provides outsorcing of quality control.https://doi.org/10.1051/matecconf/201818303001 |
