Summary: | In the 50 and 60`s teaching and learning process has been influenced by
behaviorism, a psychological theory that viewed learning as the progressive
refinement of student answers do external instructional stimulus. On the

media could function as additional sources of stimulation and motivation to
student learning process; based on those premises developped then an
important volume of empirical research on learning with media. In this paper
will be presented and analysed the theorical and methodological referentials of
research in the field of Educational Technology under the behaviorism.
Evidences of three decades of research that influenced the years to come for
this young scientific domain in the social sciences will also be discussed and
