Description
Summary:
The acquisition of communicative competences in English as a foreign Language is included in the study programs of English I and English II of the Administrative Secretarial Course at the FCE-UNaM, due to various regulations. Different levels of development are acquired by this inclusion. Professors in charge of these subjects have the impression that, according to the student’s previous knowledge, this development has an uneven impact on the actual classes. A complex panorama that requires a systematic study of the competences at the moment of entering the university and a closer look at a necessary articulation between the first year of the university and the preceding educational stages can be observed.
