Description
Summary:The present work context has undergone transformations that have substantially changed labor relations and contributed to the emergence of less hierarchical and more collaborative organizational arrangements. This new environment requires a different approach to leadership (Uhl-Bien, Marion, & McKelvey, 2007). The “carrot and stick” approach no longer works as it used to, particularly with the new generation of workers, who are more interconnected and have easy access to information.
