ato infracional. O ato infracional consiste em condutas t&iacute;picas praticadas por adolescente, aos quais aplicam-se medidas socioeducativas, como um mecanismo de ressocializa&ccedil;&atilde;o e de reeduca&ccedil;&atilde;o do adolescente em conflito com a lei. Por&eacute;m a incid&ecirc;ncia da prescri&ccedil;&atilde;o e da representa&ccedil;&atilde;o aplicadas aos imput&aacute;veis n&atilde;o tem previs&atilde;o legal no caso dos adolescentes infratores. A quest&atilde;o &eacute; deveras pol&ecirc;mica, mas o adolescente infrator ser&aacute; punido com mais rigor que um adulto, j&aacute; que n&atilde;o &eacute; beneficiado pela extin&ccedil;&atilde;o da punibilidade atrav&eacute;s da prescri&ccedil;&atilde;o e da ren&uacute;ncia do direito de representa&ccedil;&atilde;o.
