Summary: | A frequency spectra determination of the common-mode signal due tothe differential driver asymmetries is presented. The analyticalexpression for the Fourier series is developed and the evaluations fordifferent dependencies are introduced. The effect of the skew time andamplitude imbalance is shown in a parameter study. From the generalanalytical solution a compact expression for small amplitude imbalancesis deduced. This allows to study the influence of the driver time skewon the resulting common-mode signal, which is the source of unwantedelectromagnetic radiation. It is found that for realistic driverparameters, the driver skew is the most responsible. |
